Two of my favourite full strength German beers were Warsteiner and Bitburger. Bitburger 0.0% is as close to the original as possible and it is well done.
It begins with an aroma of dry, softly sweet maltiness underlaid by tangy, spicy hops giving a nose of new mown hay.
This carries on into the flavour with the hops taking a larger role. The malt flavour is slightly less but still very prominent, producing a lovely, quenching beverage.
