Non-alcoholic ginger beer for Moscow mules, dark and stormies or sipping on ice: spicy, fiery and light ginger beers from 1642, The Great Gentleman, Fever-Tree, Buderim and Favuzzi.
Non-alcoholic ginger beer is a sparkling ginger soda with a bold, spicy bite, stronger and less sweet than ginger ale. It is the key ingredient of a Moscow mule, and it is great on its own over ice with a squeeze of lime.
Virgin Moscow mule: fill a copper mug with ice, add 1 oz of lime juice and top with 4 oz of ginger beer; add 1.5 oz of a non-alcoholic spirit if you like. See our virgin Moscow mule recipe. Dark and stormy: ginger beer, lime and a non-alcoholic rum. Find more mixers in our mocktails and cocktail mixers.
Most ginger beer sold today is a non-alcoholic soft drink. Traditional homemade ginger beer is fermented and can contain a little alcohol, but every ginger beer in this collection is non-alcoholic.
Ginger beer has a stronger, spicier ginger taste and is often less sweet. Ginger ale is lighter and milder, closer to a ginger soda.
A spicy one, like The Great Gentleman or 1642, so the ginger stands up to the lime and ice.
